You can easily change the scale length of your 25-1/2" guitar to 24-3/4"
MOST OF THE TONE QUALITIES OF A GUITARBUILD ARE INFLUENCED BY THE NECK
You can easily change the scale length of your 25-1/2" guitar to either 24-3/4" or 28-5/8" (Baritone length). You do not need to move the bridge location or make any other modifications. When you have installed your new conversion neck just re-intonate your guitar to match the new scale.
